Invisalign® is a modern type of braces that is clear and covers the teeth with a nearly invisible cover. Invisalign® allows the wearer to drink water, kiss, speak, and feel confident while in social situations. Invisalign® is a computer generated teeth tray that changes every one to two weeks. Invisalign is used instead of braces and is for people of all ages from teens to people in their 60’s. For teens, Invisalign® offers a unique color changing offer that starts the tray with hidden blue tinted dots and changes to clear when it is time to switch trays.

Invisalign® should be worn for 22 hours out of the day. The other 2 hours should be maintenance of the aligners and removal for eating. After brushing your teeth in the morning and night, you should also brush and rinse your tray and then put the aligner back in. We recommend drinking lots of water to ease any dry mouth. As with braces, teeth straightening devices can often cause a little discomfort, but it can usually be relieved with wax and hydration. Braces made from metal can also irritate and cut the gums, while Invisalign® is made from SmartTrack material that provides a comfortable and easy fit.
